Hosting events at The Priests House

Many of life’s most important and memorable moments happen around food, drink and incredible company. Whilst we cannot promise you an incredible guestlist for your event (that’s your job!), we can promise delicious food, flowing drink and warm service. We take great joy & reward in knowing that providing those three aspects to your event can create lifelong memories for yourselves and your guests.

We are proud of how The Priests House is often labelled as being like from a fairy-tale. Between the 15th century Barden Tower, authentic & stunning Chapel, the rustic charm of the Oak Room,  and the tranquil grounds with views of the Wharfedale valley, The Priests House is sure to impress your guests. 

The Priests House has hosted numerous events over the years from birthday parties, anniversaries, themed nights, network events, Christmas do’s, wakes and many others.
We love making your events special and memorable (we cannot help if you forget due to a glass of wine too many though!)

The Chapel

The Chapel, which we lovingly restored in 2015/16, is the perfect blend of homely, inviting and awe-inspiring. Whilst absolutely stunning with its huge windows, high ceiling and historic features, it never fails to feel welcoming and intimate. Perfect for any occasion.

The Oak Room

The Oak Room is ideal for smaller occasions. With dark oak beams, open fires and historic artefacts, it is a truly unique and charming room for dining.
