With the magnificent backdrop of the 15th-century Barden Tower, this definitely provides the “wow” factor for your event as you drive over the hill and see the venue it all of its glory. Steeped in romanticism and charm, this unique venue is surrounded by some of the best landscape the Yorkshire Dales can offer.
The Priests House has hosted numerous events over the years from birthday parties, anniversaries, themed nights, network events, Christmas do’s, wakes and many others.
We love making your events special and memorable (we cannot help if you forget due to a glass of wine too many though!)

The Chapel beneath the House had been left unloved for many a year but has been sensitively renovated to provide a fabulous new function venue. It provides a truly historical and charming setting. You will also have the exclusive use of the whole House and grounds for the duration of your stay.

The Oak Room
The Priests House itself is perfect for a smaller occasion. With dark oak beams, open fires and candles this provides a truly medieval setting. A 15th century, intimate room for restaurant use.

The Stargazer’s Room is in the upstairs of The Priests House, named after how Sir Henry Clifford spent many nights within there studying astronomy several centuries ago. This room is ideal for groups up to fourteen and provides a perfectly private setting for you and your party for a special Sunday lunch.

The Barn at Barden
Why not combine your event or evening with an overnight or weekend stay at The Barn at Barden? It sleeps up to 24 and is located on the same site as The Priests House. Perfect so that you can enjoy your evening without having to worry about driving home.
