Festive Sunday Lunch Menu

Sunday Lunch at The Priests House is an occasion that once tried will draw you back. The main room is small and intimate, whilst the upstairs Stargazers room can be booked privately for groups up to 14. We take bookings at either of our two sittings: 12pm and 3pm. 

Throughout December, we will be serving our festive menu below in addition to a selection of specials.

Starters

Cream of parsnip soup, toasted pine nuts, Kaiser roll

Smoked haddock risotto, baby spinach, soft poached egg

Mixed game terrine, date, fig and onion compote, grilled granary bloomer

Breaded goats cheese, cranberry and orange jam, roast baby beets

Main Course

Traditional Roast Turkey, festive trimmings, light roast gravy

Grilled fillet of seabass, confit of leek, crayfish and chive butter glaze

Charred duck breast, buttered savoy, port and wild mushroom jus

Mixed vegetable tower studded with garlic and rosemary, celeriac puree, squash and thyme sauce

Classic Christmas pudding with brandy sauce

Chocolate and orange torte, winter berries, raspberry coulis

Warm ginger spice cake, toffee sauce, vanilla pod ice-cream
